Most comfortable shoes ever

I have to say, these are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They look and feel great and are excellent quality. I've always worn the biggest brand but their quality is poor now and they slip on wet surfaces so I thought I'd try these out.I ordered my usual size (6.5 US) despite seeing a couple of reviews advising to order half a size up, but they were too snug. I ordered another pair half a size up and they were the perfect fit. I kept both and stretched out the smaller pair which now fit well but definitely order half a size up from your usual size. Width wise I found them to be wide enough (my feet are 3 1/4 inches at their widest).I use these for running (treadmill) and walking and they do well on both surfaces. They have cushioned insteps and are soft and comfortable while providing adequate support. So far they've maintained a good grip on slippery surfaces, including wet tile.I hope they don't stop making these because I'll definitely be buying them again. Highly recommend.

Great shoe for walking

I had never heard of Mizuno shoes until my sister came to walk with me and wore this brand of shoe. What drew my attention was that the top of the shoe had fabric that seemed sturdier than the open mesh of most athletic shoes. My toe wears on those and even when the shoe is good the mesh is worn. These are still breathable but better material. They did not need much breaking in. They were very comfortable right away and hold my heels snug. They feel solid and don't let my feet swim around, so good support. The shoe interior is squishy enough to absorb shock. I also like the variety of color choices, even though I choose a gray to go with everything. This may be my go to brand for casual style and walking for exercise. Highly recommend!

Great

These are my favorite running shoes with the most support. They are a great value for your money! The sizing is perfect and the fit is great for running. I always put running insoles in my shoes and the support with these shoes makes for a great run. The style is great and the quality of the shoe is perfect! The look just as pictured. They are a heavier shoe because they are so supportive but I am used to it. The function of the shoe is perfect.

Not for those with plantar fasciitis.

I own a pair of Mizuno Wave inspire 14 and I loved them. Recently, I developed plantar fasciitis and these were the only one that buffered my heel while walking. I also have several pairs of Brooks, but they aren't as good as the Mizuno Wave inspire 14.I ordered the Mizuno Wave inspire 18 to replace my old Mizunos 14. I anticipated a similar feel, however the new model hurt my heel as soon as I put them on. They aren't as deep in the heal area and they also feel very hard. The inspire 14 were more springy in the heel and somehow buffered the foot from the impact. That being said, the shoes look nice and well made. They will be good for those without plantar fasciitis. My regular size is 7, but I've been ordering 7.5 for Brooks and 8 for Mizuno brand.

Husband ordered these for me, and they have completely ridded me of knee pain.

We are in our 50s now and husband has really bad knees. He played a lot of sports unprofessionally when he was growing up and prefers to not medicate, and just keep going as far as exercise in general. He ordered the men's Mizuno Inspire 18s first about a year ago.He was running again, and taking longer walks and said it was all thanks to these shoes in men's. He wasn't having the knee pain he was once having and it was thanks to wearing these shoes and absorbing the impact. A year later he ordered me this pair.Wear 8 and he ordered so, and I couldn't be more please. I've upped my miles per month, attributing to a bit of weight lose, better health and no more knee pain. These shoes really absorb the impact. They are taller than most sneakers, but they are made for running. These easily work on light trails, sidewalks and paved roads. We don't wear shoes in the house and the house has carpet. We wear slip on shoes with socks and carpet still has padding and we are not having knee pain in the house either. Husband used to complain about his cowboy boots adding to the pain especially lower back pain too, when he wear them all day. Since the Mizuno Wave Inspire he doesn't wear them anymore and has rid his back pain as well. For the price, even though it seems steep, these are the way to go for everyday use.

Great shoe; size up 1/2 size

I’m having some nasty problems with my feet, and both my podiatrist and physical therapist recommended these to fit my feet. I need a shoe with a slightly narrower heel and Muzano Wave (and Asics) accommodate this the best. These are incredibly comfortable and supportive. My orthotics fit nicely inside. I wear an 8 in a casual shoe and typically an 8.5 in a running shoe. I needed a 9 in these for a good fit. I somehow missed the “these shoes run 1/2 size small” part. Once I sized up, all is good.
