Good fit & support for my flat, narrow feet. Comfy.
I have high arches. Even when a shoe feels supportive in the store, I often develop an ache in the front part of my arch (just behind the ball of my foot). These shoes are extra padded there, and I can feel the support when I take a step. They are cushioned too.Sizing: These run short, but the stretchy fabric does help when I walk. I would need to go up a half size if I were a runner. I had tried on some medium width ones in the store (when really needing a wide) and had to go up a half size. I decided to order the Wide ones online, and I went back to my regular size. I should have ordered a half size up. (I decided to keep them because I have a broken toe and can’t wear my other shoes) I cut my nails on big toes, and they are fine (only because of the stretchy fabric).
I recently purchased the Mizuno Women's Wave Rider 26 Running Shoe, and I must say, it's incredibly comfortable! The cushioning and support provided by these shoes make my running experience a breeze. They fit perfectly and feel like they were custom-made for my feet. The design is not only stylish but also functional, providing excellent traction and stability during my runs. I no longer experience discomfort or fatigue in my feet, even after long-distance runs. I highly recommend the Mizuno Wave Rider 26 to any female runners looking for top-notch comfort and performance in their running shoes!
I used to wear Brooks Glycerin but the cushioning isn't what it used to be. I'm a 9.5 narrow in Brooks. I tried these Mizuno shoes because some of the reviews said they ran narrow. I found them to be about as narrow as my narrow Brooks, which are actually not narrow enough for me. I've always had to tighten the laces a lot for them to fit right.I really like the cushion on the Mizuno Wave Rider 26. I'm recovering from a knee injury and I have almost no pain in the Mizuno. They are a bit loose for me though. There is a little heel slippage. On my right foot, the shoe hits my ankle sometimes and the bottom of my heel is getting rubbed where the insole meets the outsole inside of the shoe. I didn't notice these issues until I'd worn the shoes out to run, but I'm wondering if it's an issue with the individual shoe.
This shoe was recommended to me due to plantar faciitis. They fit my feet well and are easy to wipe clean.
This is absolutely the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn! My podiatrist wants me to wear only running shoes with an 8-12mm heel toe drop due to bilateral achilles tendonitis strain, and I have struggled to fine the perfect shoe. Unfortunately, one must spend three figures to achieve this mission, apparently, but boy am I happy to have found this shoe!Great support, stability, and so much shock absorption “cushion” that it’s like walking on a cloud. My daughter got the same model shoe, and feels the same.If you aren’t sure, order the styles you think you want on try before you buy. I ordered multiple sizes of each due to conflicting reviews re: fit. But this customer couldn’t be happier! (Note: I only run if I am in danger, or trying to catch the ice cream truck, so this review evaluates the show’s WALKING performance only!)
Had to return due to heel being way too wide and my toes bang into front causing great pain in ankles and knees when walking.I’m not sure why shoes in wide no longer provide extra width just in the toe box like they used to.Also, not sure if they were new. I’m guessing someone had same issue.I’m giving three stars only because of the enormous size, with length not a true size 8 length.I think the cost of 68$ for Minuzo’s is great. Quality was stellar. I’m disappointed they didn’t fit.Still love this brand but need to try on in person.
