I love these shoes, and they are my new go-to running shoes. I overpronate as a runner and used to wear an orthotic inside the Mizuno Wave Inspire, which I have worn for over 10 years. I don’t have to wear a orthotic with these. They have a lower drop than I am used to, but I really prefer it now. I haven’t had any issues and this is the second time I’ve purchased this shoe.
Love my Mizuno's very comfortable and great support for walking.
The Wave Horizon is my go-to shoe. Model 8 is the best so far. It has great support and cushioning and the shoe has reflective threads interwoven on the toe box which I appreciate. And the toe box is wide which I like. I wish there were more colors and see that Europe has a gray version with pink and blue on the base, which I hope makes it to the states soon.
These running shoes are some of the most supportive, comfortable shoes that I’ve ever worn !
If I could give these shoes a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. I have been needing some new tennis shoes for quite some time, and when I saw these I figured I would give them a try, and they absolutely did not disappoint. Upon trying them on, I was already in love with them and how they felt. Then I riskily decided to give these a true test of wear on vacation recently to universal studios, for a week. As we know, most of the time wearing new shoes for the first time, they usually make your feet hurt from them still being stiff, but not these. I was truly amazed by how comfortable these were on the first wear for being on my feet for 8+ hours with them on. Absolutely no sore feet, (which is extremely rare for that much walking for me personally) and it was truly such an incredible experience. I wore these everyday for a week in the parks, and I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever had comfier shoes than these. These shoes have SUCH great support, they honestly feel like you are walking on a cloud! The quality of these shoes are absolutely incredible! They not only feel nice, but they look super nice too! I am usually between a size 8-9 and I got an 8 in these and they fit perfectly. While the price on these are a little high, and can be deterring, they are absolutely worth every single penny. I’ve been wearing these at home on the treadmill now as well, and they are officially my go-to tennis shoe! If you are looking for a review to convince you to buy these, let this be the one, you need them!
I am not a runner, at all, so can't review these shoes based on that. I do have autoimmune issues and joint pain can be pretty severe, so I wanted something we ith good cushioning. These shoes are like walking on air! They're super lightweight compared to other tennis shoes I own and they fit really nice without pinching or rubbing anywhere. I've worn them to several events where standing for hours on end happens and my legs don't feel as fatigued with these. I'm really happy with them so far. I hope they hold up well!
The Wave Horizon 8 fits true to size and feels instantly comfortable—plush underfoot with a stable, supported ride that’s great for everyday miles or long walks. The heel feels locked-in, the platform is confidence-boosting on tired legs, and the upper has a nice, soft wrap.Minor trade-offs: it’s not the lightest shoe on the rack, and ventilation is just okay on hot days. But if you like a cushioned, supportive trainer that doesn’t mess with sizing, this is a winner.
