I do like that. These shoes are still tow. The non-slip works very good. They're just a little narrow for my toes. So my big toe is starting to hurt after 8 hours of wearing them. If it was a little wider, they'd be perfect. We're wearing, but other than that. They are great work shoesWe're working in a restaurant situation.

Sturdy but underwhelming
No-frills faux leather work shoes targeted toward food service workers, with a protective toe cap, Velcro closure, and soles that are labeled 'non slip' and 'oil resistant'. The toe cage is roomy with a sturdy cap, but lacks any explicit safety rating or certification. The 'non slip' sole doesn't seem up to snuff with similar shoes - there are no rubber elements, just a molded foam/polyurethane. (I'm not sure what criteria there are, if any, for the non slip and oil resistant labels). The interior lining is barely there, with the bare minimum cushioning around the ankle and a scratchy cloth lining everywhere else. Insole is firm without much arch support, and not really made for being on your feet all day.Now I don't expect much at this price point, but this shoe doesn't even quite meet my lowered expectations. It's not a terrible shoe, but if you're looking for a work shoe on a budget there are better ways to spend your money.

I got these for my husband in his usual size, who said they are simultaneously too short and too wide. He was not able to adjust the Velcro enough to address the width. There is "quite a bit of space behind the heel" that his foot does not naturally fall into, and he had to keep "forcing" his feet back into the heel area in order to not have his toes crushed against the front. The insole is very thin and he noticed no arch support.
