I bought the black shoe that ties. These heals are the perfect height, and not at all painful. These are the only shoes I want to wear now. They are leather, and they smell like leather. I love the look of them, and I want more now. I wear a 7 and went with the 7 1/2, as that is how they are sized. They are perfect.
These are gorgeous, high end looking shoes. I bought an 8. I was an 8 narrow when younger. At 55 and with bunions I often go 8 1/2- even 9 in a closed toe. Still 8 in a sandal. I got these in 8 and they are perfect so I’d say they are true to size or run very slightly large . I have a narrow heal - but my foot has become medium / wide across bunions / bunionettes ( apparently that’s a thing and I have it ) and I have a torn ligament. I’m supposed to wear oofos ( big goofy rubber croc type shoes - they really are heaven and i recommend ) but I took a chance in these so I could look nice !!!!! On my feet all day and comfortable!!!!!! Also I have eczema on my feet if certain raw leathers touch skin ( I know I can’t believe it’s come to this ) but these have a very refined leather lining inside that doesn’t seem to irritate my skin. I just had to give away all of my Mephisto Helen’s - super comfortable cute and hide bunions but have a raw bumpy leather touching skin - but not these. These are the quality of shoemakers in the 30’s & 40’s.
Shopping at Dillards and a shoe sales person commented on my shoes. Since I had them off, trying on shoes, he asked if he could look them. Said the shoes were one of the best made shoes he had ever seen! Everyone that sees the shoes comment on how cute. Also comfortable and fit a little narrow, which is perfect for me. I have a skinny foot.
I waited to write this until after full shift at work. I absolutely love these shoes! My feet are on the wider side of the sizing spectrum and these were delightful the entire day. Only drawback (for me) is they are not silent, but not so loud they were distracting. The leather is soft. Their shape, well-contoured. I am new to this brand, but will absolutely check out their other designs. Worth the cost.
This is a great shoe but it runs larger than most Mona flyings. I ordered a 6.5 and could have had a 6. I sent them back because my box was torn and I couldn’t get a replacement orange box.
Comfortable heel and fun retro style. The packaging is very nice, comes with flannel drawstring bags for each shoe.The sizing was perfect — size 8 for me.I’ve seen shoes like this for a lot more money!
Wore them out without breaking them in first and they were so comfortable. I was looking for something that had a more elevated look than flats but without compromising comfort and this shoe delivered. I first wore them to the Hollywood Bowl without any insoles or any kind of pantyhose or a liner. The venue has a lot of walking uphill and my feet were still comfortable. At the end of the day I had a bit of rubbing at the back of my foot where shoes usually rub but what can I say? They were brand new and a bandaid a foot liner or inside shoe adhesive could have easily prevented that for that type of a walk with an incline. I’m so happy with these beautiful shoes.
