Personally, the shoes looked cheap and fully coated w dye to make it appear higher quality. They shoes have a strong smell due to the chemicaldye. Also, very narrow towards the tip.

Squeak
I must say these shoes appear to be well made, packaging was great. Soft leather and comfortable. HOWEVER, my low rating is because a couple of months after wearing them one shoe started to squeak when walking. I spent some time massaging the shoe attempting to manipulate it, “break it in” more and it eliminated most of the squeak. However for the past week now both shoes are squeaking, it’s beyond annoying and definitely takes a hit on one’s professionalism in the office. I will be throwing these out and have to find another shoe. For the money I spent, I didn’t expect to have this problem, I’ve never had a shoe do this before. So I will be looking at another brand.

Seem like great shoes so far!
I’d been wanting some menswear-inspired shoes for some time, but a) they were hard to find and b) the ones I COULD find were a fortune ($300+). These shoes seem great so far. The leather is soft, so no break-in period necessary, and the footbed is padded, which was a nice surprise. Also, the sole is rubber (I was surprised by this, too—in photos it looked like a traditional leather sole). I wasn’t sure how I felt about that, but after wearing them I’ve decided I like the rubber sole. The shoes are very lightweight and aren’t as slippery as a leather sole would be. I’ll see how these hold up, but assuming they do, I’ll be ordering more.I have a medium width foot with a slightly narrow heel; I ordered my regular size (9B) and they fit very well. No pinching at toe box (even wearing thin no-show socks), and while the heel is a teeny bit wide, that’s not unusual for me so I don’t mind it. The only potential problem I see is, because the leather is so soft, a crease is developing across the top; I’m going to invest in shoe trees to try to hinder that.

The good:These shoes make your feet look slender. They are very comfortable from the first day on. There is plenty of room in the toe box and the heal and the upper rear does not rub your Achilles wrong. I’ve gotten several compliments so I got another pair in blue and a black pair. I wear a ladies 9 medium and the 41 fits like a glove.The meh:I wish they had a bit of a higher heel 1.5-2” or so would be great so they would go better with more of my tailored suits and business pants that were designed for a pair of shoes with heels. Also the laces look good and feel good but you need to double knot them or they will loosen.The bad:I work mostly in the office with an occasional escape for a cup of coffee a block or two away. I am an average height and weight so I do not believe I am stressing any of my shoes. After a couple of uses my brown pair started to squeak when I walked at a normal indoor pace. It squeaks on hard flooring and low pile carpet. I started wearing the black pair and they too started to breakdown quickly and squeak after a couple of uses. The blue ones are in the box still and I am reluctant to repeat history.Question:I’d love to give these shoes a 5star for the look, fit and material/design but the squeak is a star killer.How do I contact the company and what is the replacement warranty? Amazon doesn’t make this part easy. I love the look and feel and don’t want to pay double to have a local shoe repairman have to fix them all.
