Comfortable, well made, heel shape a bit odd Nice versatile shoes! Matte Green 9.5
They are real shoes, and seem very well made, good leather, and even color. Imho the heel shape is a bit clunky, kind of a big square, but it's not obtrusive, and the mid-height goes well for both a flats/low heel look or a heeled look without being too high. They are cut gracefully low on the foot in front, so the bow is right near the toe, which I like. They peek out from under a floor-length gown without the hem fabric catching on it as a bow higher up the foot might. While not absolutely 'period-appropriate' historically, they can suit a Regency look, 50's rockabilly, 80's corporate, 20's to 30's cocktail gown, imho they are very versatile which is exactly what I was looking for. I got the Matte Emerald Green, love it, the color coordinates well imho with a green-ish blue dress I also got on Amazon, 'Hanpceirs Women's Boatneck Sleeveless Swing Vintage 1950s Cocktail Dress Teal Blue' I have a wide foot and did not find the toe box tight on these, they aren't pointy. The fit was good, if anything on the larger side- first wear was at a 4hour event and I wasn't aware of them at all. Maybe a bit loose if I had to run or dance in them. Idk if other colors would run the same. From the listing photos some of the shoes appear to have slightly different heels, so maybe look at all the photos before ordering. A bit more than I'd usually spend for shoes without trying on first, but I haven't found any like these anywhere else! Glad I got them.
