These boots are very comfortable for working around the house and property. I can spend several hours in them. They have had good traction on concrete floors, snow, ice, mud, etc.The toe box is a little wider than the standard chore boot which is a nice improvement.

Husband ordered these for mining boots. He switches between pull on muck Boots and lace up Matterhorn or Lacrosse depending on conditions. The only downside to mucks(chore steel toe) with mining wear is when the boots become loose and they wear out a hole on the back of the heal,inside.. then they start eating socks like crazy! Lol. Even new workwear socks which are thicker on the heels and toes. So when they wear that hole prepare to go thru alot of socks or go ahead and buy new boots. These (chore cool steel toe boots) are supposed to not be as hot as the regular chore. He likes them. He normally wears a 12 in shoes and boots but gets 11 in these so maybe them being a little more tight won't wear a hole in the back as bad or as fast. He does like them and says they're cooler on his feet than the others.
This boot works great when working in the mud. Good fit, good traction, and has held up pretty well. When you're done for the day you just hose them off. They're definitely a thinner and cooler material on the leg than the normal MuckBoots Chore. The material has also held up well (no tears or holes). I tuck my jeans into these boots and they're still comfortable but my legs and feet still sweat a bit. I really like the sole of this boot as it is tough and has good traction. I'll buy another pair when mine wear out.
Bought a pair of these when i was working in a rock quarry and i tell you these were a game changer and a life saver. You feet will do a lot of sweating but they will keep you dry and protect you feet (steel toe)
