Excellent shoe. I owned short and tall muck boots years ago until they wore out after years of hard use. Then forgot how great they were. Then I saw these. Not pretty like the hard rubber garden shoes but SO COMFORTABLE. They are a bit expensive but worth it
Can wear year round. Great for walking the dog on dewy mornings. Feet stay dry.
Quiet warm and good insole
I love muck boots. I bought a pair of the mid-rise ones from the Muck Boot Co, loved them, and wore them A LOT for dog-walking, gardening, in the snow and wet weather, etc. They were super comfortable with lots of cushioning, non-slip, kept my feet warm and dry, etc. Several years ago, my daughter got me a pair of the low slip on ones, which were just as great. Last year, I bought this green pair of low slip ons via Amazon, and assumed that they'd also be great. I have to say that they are good, but not great. The cushioning seemed to wear out faster, as did the outsole. (I actually go back to wearing my old pair lots of the time.)
I wear these every day except in snow for very dirty tasks in loose debris and wet conditions. Easy to slip in and out of yet they keep dirt from finding its way in. The treads are shaped to shed dirt instead of trap in in the grooves. The insoles never crumple or slip. The shoes are super comfortable, like an extension of my body. I wear them to town, too, even when they are caked with mud, because I don't want to give up the comfort.I have tried other brands and there is no comparison.They last me an average of two years before cracking and letting water in, but I keep them for one more dry season before replacing them.They are totally worth the usually high price. They are not always available so buying two pairs when the price is right is a good investment.I have wide feet and require a wide in all other shoes but the medium Muck fits perfectly.
Somewhere over the years, Muck changed the design of this shoe to have a smaller and more narrow opening. Really wish they’d left well enough alone. My 10 year old pair finally died and I had to order a replacement- I do t think these are going to work for me. Will probably return them
Very good buy! Work outside a lot with large animals. Very durable and good protection from moisture. Is a good fit and comfortable.
