Too wide in the heel but too narrow in the foot.

Smooth, comfortable interior, fully waterproof exterior. Unfortunately the fit is weird and it's not a matter of sizing up or down. They are narrow at the widest part of the foot, but wide in the heel. This means the heel slips constantly, and the foot gets pinched. Going up a size would make the heel slip worse. Going down a size would pinch the foot more, so there's no good solution. They're just weirdly shaped.

hard to get on and off and runs small

The foot opening is very small. Probably half the size of my old muckboots. So it was a struggle to get them on and off. You have to sit down and pull with both loops and hands. These used to be so easy to step right into as you're going out into the garden and easy to kick off when going back in leaving the mud at the door. The boot didn't quite fit right either - it was a little small or the sole bent in the wrong place so it was uncomfortable. I had to send them back. I really miss the old style and fit. Super comfortable; easy on and off at the door; could wear them all day in complete comfort. Please bring that old fit back!
