Classic winter boots
I needed to replace my last pair of sturdy winter boots, which were synthetic and started cracking about the same time the treads wore thin. I'm glad I found these.These boots are very sturdy but are still well-shaped and attractive, perfect to wear with jeans or thermal pants. The sole and uppers are lightly padded and very comfortable. The overall style is a classic winter look.The one small issue is that they run a little small, though part of that may be that I was wearing thicker socks when I tried the first pair on. I wear US women's 9 1/2s in most shoes and 10s in dress shoes and anything that doesn't come in half sizes, but the 10s I ordered were uncomfortable with thick socks. Since I expect to wear them with thick socks most of the time, I ordered a pair of 11s and returned the 10s as soon as I knew the 11s wouldn't be too big.I can't say anything about these boots' durability, except that they look like they should last a long time. I'll post an update if that proves incorrect.

These boots exceeded my expectations! They complement your feet and don't look clunky! Super comfortable with a plush lining that won't irritate your ankles. I wore these all day when I opened them- no pain. They run slightly big, but I wouldn't size down; there's enough room for a thick sock. Sturdy sole with nice treads. Details that elevate these boots: beautiful color and texture of the suede, a gold metallic thread running through the fabric top, brass hardware that looks rich, pretty laces that have a sheen, classy label placement on the tongue.
