So far seems very promising
1-month update:These are really impressive boots. Been putting them through the ringer and they couldn't be more perfect for work.Original review:Will update if anything changes, but these boots are being put to the test and performing well.My primary concern in my work boots is waterproof and durable because my job requires me to walk in water flooded areas and through puddles of oil. It's hard finding waterproof+safety toe boots on the cheap so I've always used the same model waterproof leather boots for years because they worked. I saw these and I've always wanted a safety toe after a couple accidents, so I wanted to see if they could hold up to the water. They seem decently waterproof after a light test splashing around in a deepish puddle, no leaking in at the laces yet. The composite toe is a plus because it's not heavy like steel. The boot all around seems very well constructed, doesn't at all feel cheap. In fact my only complaint would be that the wall around the sides of the heel are too stiff because it's extremely tough material, and has no give so if you don't have a snug fit your heel may be rubbing up against it a bit. I buy 12 boots because 11.5 is rare so I have a tad bit of play there. But otherwise they're pretty darn comfortable. Arch support is a huge plus. I walked and worked in them all day today and was fine. I also wore them running errands 2 days this past weekend to break them in, but they honestly didn't need it they were comfortable out the gate. Also the zipper is a huge plus. Not a lot of seats in the locker room where I suit up and I hate having to bend down for 2 minutes to pull them on and lace up. I've been playing with tying them tight then just unzipping to step out and step back in. It takes seconds and I'm ready to go in a pre-tied boot. Zipper quality seems okay for now. Nothing crazy but not cheap either. But if I had to guess what would go first it would be the zipper simply because the rest of the boot feels so solid.
