Softest, most comfortable sandal I've ever worn
I love this sandal. It's so soft, more comfortable than most slippers I've ever worn! I've worn orthotics since the 80's. If my feet don't get enough support my knees go out. I found that out the hard way. So I needed a style of sandal where I could use my own orthotics. I'm no longer able to pay for custom orthotics, I buy them on Amazon now. This sandal has some arch support but not enough for me. The orthotics on Amazon tend to be on the wide side and I wasn't sure if they would fit the shoe. The length on the orthotics can be trimmed, but not the width.I wear a medium width in all shoes and these sandals fit me perfectly, but since the orthotics run wide I would say this sandal has a medium to wide footbed. I put true to width on the sizing because the footbed area is deep enough to absorb the orthotic, it's not rigid and it squeezes into the space just fine!The strap runs at an angle and when the sandals are on it doesn't line up perfectly when fastened but it's close enough for me. Whether or not the strap lines up may depend on the size of your ankle.I need very solid foot support and I've looked for a sandal I can wear for a couple of years. I also need a low--or no--heel. This sandal fits the bill perfectly. I wear a 39, or 8.5M, and I sized up to a 9, the nearest whole size, as recommended. These fit perfectly in the length, perfectly in the heel, and the width is perfect. The wide band over the toes and closed heel provide the great support my feet need. The leather is super soft! These are by far the best sandals I've ever had!

Love these puppies -- good looking AND comfy. The only quibble I might possibly have is that when worn, the strap over the top of the foot does not exactly line up with the fastening side, as in, keep the angle perfect. They arrive fastened and at perfect angle, but with a foot in them, a little off. Still fully wearable and so far no one has stopped in their tracks and pointed out this minor design flaw. I normally wear a 10M-10.5M and ordered an 11M. Length is perfect, no heel rub or toe overhang, so maybe/possibly they run a teensy bit short? These guys are for sure a good medium width, so a narrow or wide foot might be uncomfortable. Naot has two standard footbeds (that I have discerned so far), a wide/squarish toed one and a narrower/streamlined one. This is the latter.

Worth the money for a shoe that lasts a lifetime

Super comfortable
The Naot Papaki sandal is a great walking sandal with a supportive and comfortable foot bed. It fits my relatively narrow foot like a glove and the Velcro strap makes adjusting the fit easy. I own it in two colors and am considering buying more. It’s a higher price point but is worth every penny.

Cute shoes with moderate arch support
These shoes are very comfortable and are cute on the foot. I deducted a star because I expected better arch support for a shoe sold at this price point. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 shoe. I went with an 8 because this shoe does not come in half sizes. The 8 fit perfectly without a sock. I'm not sure I would buy them again, but I am keeping these.

Ugliest sandal I've ever seen
If I could give zero stars, I would. I have never ordered a Naot shoe or sandal before and I may never again. For such an expensive sandal ($200 including tax!!!) it sure is ugly. Such low quality looking materials. There is a shiny fake lizard skin on the heel that is atrocious. And the heel strap is cheap Velcro. Their markup has got to be 1000% because there is no way the materials cost more than a few dollars. The insoles look nice tho. Save yourself money and hassle. Skip their shoes and just buy their insoles and put them in reasonably priced shoes. So disappointed. Thank God for free returns.
