So comfortable! So supportive! (So squeaky!)
This was my first pair of Naots (I ordered two styles, kept these, and have since bought a pair of ‘sneakers’ from this brand as well.) I had never heard of this brand and am not a sandal person. But I needed really good, suppportive shoes so I could walk around Italy (and life in general) despite my painful, problem feet and knees—including one that’s recently been replaced, and one that still needs to be.These shoes are/were immediately really comfortable and really supportive. This footbed is amazing! Great arch support. And the sole is thick, non-slip, and provides solid, cushioned, support.I double-crossed the laces in the middle at first (between the two loops) until I got use to having something rubbing a little at the front of my ankle (I wanted them tight), but got over that pretty quickly. I love the extra support the laces and the piece at the back of the heel provide for my ankles. I love the fact that my toes are covered and enclosed (and stay clean!).These are super-comfortable, supportive, shoes that stay on without any effort or slipping, and are kind of funky/cute enough to go with anything. (I ordered them in the light tan.) As comfortable as my favorite New Balance without that ‘I’m-wearing-gym-shoes’ look. My only complaint is that one shoe squeaks—well, not so much squeaks, as sounds like I’m stepping on a small, but VERY annoyed, frog. I hoping (hopping?!) that will go away eventually, but I like these so much that I’m willing to put up with it for a bit.I understand that Naot has several different footbeds—this one has the arch support I need, and, in combination with this great sole (a little hard to describe, but it’s both solid and soft), works for me. I bought another pair of Naots with this same footbed and sole in a sneaker style, and they’re great as well. I don’t know why they have to be so unbelievably expensive, but for me it’s the difference between walking and not, so totally worth it.

Perfect in every way
I have a narrow foot and neuromas. It is so hard to find shoes to fit either issue. THIS SHOE DOES THE TRICK FOR BOTH! I can loosen it or tighten it at the top of the foot and the ankle and the toe box is perfect - not too wide and not too narrow. It is so cushiony and comfortable! And so cute! I had high hopes and and they are perfectly met!

These are so comfortable that I got them in every color. Amazon has occasionally a good deal on the price if you’re patient because these shoes are high quality leather and quite expensive. But so darn cute and worth every cent

Cheap Shoestrings
One of the shoestrings frayed and almost came apart the second time that I wore these shoes. I contacted the company and asked if I could order new shoestrings. They never responded. I have looked online to try to find replacement shoestrings but cannot find them. I haven't been able to buy a suitable color in stores, so I only wore these shoes two times. I should have returned them but had faith that the company would want to make it right by sending me a new shoestring.

Beautiful comfortable show but not for me.
These are nice shoes and have the ability to have the insoles removed if you need to add some orthotics. however, they didn’t work out for me. Because I wanted them specifically for dresses, the round toe made my feet look extremely big and thick in comparison to my thin legs. Giving an off balance look as I was looking for a more dainty and feminine look. That is why I’m giving it a 4 stars out of 5. I’m sure this will not be a problem for most as they are comfortable, and at the end of the day it does come down to personal preference .

Love this shoe but had to return the size 9 as too short. I’m a solid size 9 and my toes were cramped. Returned shoes for the next size up & they fit perfectly. The return was very easy & very quickly sent out again. I really appreciated that. The only con are the laces. They have a coating on them that allows them to come untied easier than they should but not a big deal. The shoe is very pretty & I’ve received several compliments on them. They are a little pricey for me but I plan on getting another pair in a different color. NAOT brand was recommended by my podiatrist for casual/dress shoes due to my hammertoes. I positively Love these shoes and so do my feet!

stiff and narrow
I thought for the money that was charged for these shoes they would check all the boxes. Comfort , style and design. I found them to be stiff, little support in the sole portion and tight on the ankle and across the top edge of the shoe where it meets the upper part of the lower foot. I don't know maybe they need to be broken in. I don't go for shoes that need breaking in so there for I gave it 3 generous stars. I felt that for the price my quality could go into the foot padding and softer leather used. I would not recommend this shoe for anyone with foot issues.
