Update: The bottoms are still firm but have molded to my feet a bit. I use these primarily when I get out of the shower to allow my feet to dry thoroughly. I do like them.Added a star, they work for the purpose I purchased them. I would purchase again.Previous review:This is a good product but bottoms are hard. I have been wearing these over a month and they are still hard. Brocade straps have different material underneath, maybe a polyester? So they are eh.They may need a longer break in period. I wiil update if appropriate.
I've been looking for sandals like these for 25 years. They were popular in the 70s and 80s. Then they disappeared. I couldn't find them anywhere. Even on Amazon, you have to type in Hawaiian sandals then scroll down until you find them. They are the only sandals that slip on and off easily, and absorb the perspiration from my feet, or provide ventilation so the sandal doesn't stick to the bottom of my feet like the synthetic crap they use now to make sandals. I love them and will wear them until they fall apart. I think I'll get several more pair since it seems every product I really like gets taken off the market and replaced with some cheap, inferior crap.
