Choose your foot and calf width
Ok, just so you know, you can get this boot in both wide foot-width and wide calf-width, because guess what? Boot-wearin’ babes have actual bodies and aren’t made in factories. Hallelujah, I think Naturalizer may be the first shoe brand that I know of to do this. Why isn’t this a thing everywhere? These boots fit like they were tailored for me. They are also very comfortable, with nice arch support so I can wear them all day. They look really cute.

Stylish and truly comfortable for wide width, larger calf
This is a review for the SOUL Naturalizer Women's, Orchid Boot - Wide Calf Black 11 M. This is the most comfortable boot I have encountered. So far I am satisfied. At this point I cannot speak to durability but still giving it 5 stars. The price was right. What I paid ($60) was fair for this man made material boot. I see it has gone way back up over $100! I have size 11 FLAT feet, wide. I took a chance with the M instead of the wide because of the considerable price differential . I am glad I did because the wide probably would have been too wide, especially for my hind foot. I think if you have a moderately wide foot you may do fine with the regular width. I have worn these boots to work 2x this past week and have only encountered comfort and support. They are not leather but look well constructed. I wanted something that would be more conducive to all weather conditions for the mid Atlantic coast, hence the attractiveness of this boots water repellency (snowfall is typically minimal here). I stand just under 5’8” and this pair comes up to about 2-3 inches *below* the bottom of my knee. I have no struggle to zip them up…which for me is a breath of fresh air. Any boot shaft under 17 inch is pretty much a no-go for me. With these, I have enough room to tuck in my jeans. There is a bit of elastic goring at the top which would accommodate those with an even larger calf. I did not want a stiff riding boot appearance. This boot has a bit less unstructured quality to it, especially around the ankles hence why one reviewer said they found the boot too slouchy. If you want a riding boot or tighter, sleek look to your prospective boot then these may not work for you. I like the heavier looking sole. It is, in fact, a very light boot overall. I am satisfied thus far and glad I have them.

Too narrow for wide feet!
I got the extra wide and the calf was great, but the footbed was not wide at all.
