Wow! This Boot is a Very Pleasant Surprise
The Naturalizer Fae High Shaft Knee Boot made a great first impression before I even removed it from the box. The color in the photo looks very light tan. It is called Peanut Butter. In person the color looks exactly like the smooth, creamy, highly addictive peanut butter in a jar that we all know and love. It is exactly the color boot that I have been looking for in GENUINE LEATHER that has been highly elusive. I ordered the Peanut Butter color, plus the Chocolate Brown in size 11 Wide. The brown is a beautiful dark brown color. The boot calf is generous but not huge. It's just right with some slack to wear tights, thin leggings, or slim jeans. I plan to wear opaque tights with knee length denim dresses and the Peanut Butter color will look really good with the gold stitching of denim clothing. The toe of the boot is rounded and the width of the foot is adequate. The heel is chunky and about 2" high. This is ideal for me considering I have flat feet and I prefer a heel but it needs to be very stable and I seek non slip, non noisy soles with good tread. I love the genuine leather and I despise plastic vinyl shoes that are ruining feet all over the world. I also like the small zipper just above the ankle on the side of the boot. A boot with the small zipper always fits me better than a full length zipper possibly because the calf opening is more generous in this style boot. This helps because no matter what shoes I wear I experience slight swelling of my right ankle nearly every day by the end of the day. There is a seam around the upper ankle of this boot and in my experience this is a true sign of quality in the Fae boot and the ankle will not be baggy.

Beautiful. Just like the pictures. Elegant shape, supple but substantial leather. Fits my calf perfectly and I measure between a 15 and 15.5in. I also ordered in the wide calf but it was much to big for me. Works well with skinny jeans or skirts. Shaft quite tall, almost hit bottom of my knee and I am 5’7”. Comfy, can walk in them all day. Love them. Will wear for years!

Very tall knee high
This is a beautiful boot, my feet are a bit wide so I ordered a wide, fit perfectly, however at 5’3’ the height of the shaft was too high, the leather is thick and not forgiving and they bit the back of my knees, disappointed because they are beautiful.

Perfect Right Out of the Box!
Best boots, ever! This pair of wide-calf, wide-width boots fit me perfectly right out of the box. Since I have problem feet, I feel as though I just hit the lottery. Comfortable, good height, and lovely leather for a terrific price. I purchased them in my normal size of 7.5 W. I did not need to size up to a size 8, which I normally do with boots.

Great Looking Boot
I ordered my regular size of 6 1/2 medium, regular calf, and they fit perfectly as expected with a thick sock too, so the boot runs true to size in this line. The peanut butter is such a nice color. The boot leather is soft and supple , and are not form fitting, but not overly huge gapping. They do stay up on the leg and don't slouch down or anything. For me, the boot isn't sufficiently padded as I would like, but are still comfortable enough. The Price is right for this boot.

Too wide a calf; two narrow the foot !
Well, I took a chance even though many customer reviews were only fair…I had to agree with those problems mentioned in quite a few reviews….the calf was SO wide that it looked ridiculous and although I had sized up, the foot, particularly the toe of the boot, was VERY narrow; there was no room to wear a warm sock ! I was very disappointed, as the boot was good looking, the leather quality very nice and the heel height perfect…I had to return them.

Great Looking Boots
These boots are really beautiful. The quality of the suede is top notch and they are super comfortable, no break-in period. I normally wear a size 8 and the boots I purchased are an 8. They fit perfectly. As with all my boots I always need to find the perfect sock thickness for the boot and these are no different. I use a slightly thicker sock. Other reviews have said the width around the top of the boot is a bit wide and I don't disagree but not a deal breaker. They also slouch a bit which looks cool.
