Love these boots.. I am plus size so I had to stretch the calf part before i could just pull them up, It was very tight around my calfs at first, but eventually they became really loose; which happens over time and i kept having to pull the boots up because they will fall down to my ankles, if that really bothers you , you can put a black scruncy around the top of the boots.. I wore these boot til they were run down.. def cannot be worn everyday like i wore them because the material got holes or started falling apart. my feet did get wet in the snow or rain if you constanly standing in the snow or rain, but that was expected becasuse its not water resistant and i did wanted the cloth looking boots and not the leather looking boots.. just spray water resistant spray to help combat that issue lol but it goes with every dress and outfit for the winter lol
OK, these boots are fantastic and stylish AFTER you do something about the fact that they fall down constantly. My first day wearing them, I pulled the ties tight and hoped they'd stay up but after two hours they were around my ankles. I looked around online for solutions but I didn't want to spend $20+ on a bootbra contraption so I improvised: I cut the tubes off a pair of crew socks, pulled them up to my thighs and rolled them tight to act as compression bands just under the boot ties, preventing them from sliding down past them. (Picture shows one band rolled in place, one unrolled for reference; I position those and then pull the boot ties super tight just over them). It works like a charm, and I have to retighten the ties once or twice a day only if I've been doing a lot of walking or stairs. With that fixed, I feel super comfy and stylish in them, I can wear them all day. They're soft, and they're WARM which is awesome for the fall and winter. They're flexible enough that I can wear them over jeans, tights, or just socks, and because they're so warm I can wear shorts and flash some thigh even on colder fall days. I'm also 6 foot and the boots come nicely up several inches past my knees. Very good for the price.
So many compliments, super happy with this purchase. Even found them here, 1/2 price, double bonus.
UPDATE: Returning. Tried to wear them today Over some fleece leggings. The no-zipper problem is turning them into a return. I couldn't get my feet in without struggling (a LOT) to get my foot over the heel part, even though these fit perfectly once I actually get them on. If they had a zipper to help you get them on, I'd love them. Too difficult as pull- on only. The heel construction is too stiff and you can't use a shoe horn with boots this tall. I am a boot hoarder, and the only tall boots I have with no zipper are my Minnetonka fringe mocassin boots - easy on and easy off. These have poor foot construction.ORIGINAL REVIEWwanted a pair of tall light/medium genuine suede boots and can't find them anywhere without a heel. I had these in my cart for awhile and purchased them a few days ago when the priced dropped.Pro: they fit my runner's calves with room to spare (mine are about 16").The color is exactly what I wanted for a certain outfit. The faux actually does look like real suede but I don't anticipate them lasting too long.Cons: wide shaft - these are even slipping down on my 16" legs. There is a weird bump you need to get your heel over to slide on. Which leads me to the biggest con: no zipper. Tall boots are a pain without a zipper if you're wearing something under them.Sole is not that comfortable, although it fits perfectly. Cheap quality but what do you expect for $25?Narrow-calved girls - I would avoid thess unless you want to be constantly tugging them back on. They even slide a little on my calves and they fit. Perfectly.
The boots are cute. I’m glad I won with a 6 1/2 instead of the recommended six and they did come with a couple of stains on them. I gave them a three because they are cute. They go past my knee and they do not rise down.
I bought these boots at a local mall because they are a perfect match with my Fendi sunshine tote bag. After a couple years they started to peel and the mall store no longer carries them. I couldn't figure out the brand because the name on the sole had worn off. I took a gamble on these and they are a dead spot on match! I'm so happy cause these boots are sexy, comfortable, and go with so many of my outfits. The color is cognac not exactly tan. They are high quality and only fade/peel after 2 or 3 years but I honestly wore these boots out and they may have lasted longer with proper storage and easy wear. They shipped a week faster than expected. Arrived Dec 31 deliver date was expected Jan 7th. I'm happy with my purchase and hope they never stop selling these boots. The pic I posted shows one old boot, one new boot btw. Hope it helps someone cause I almost didn't order and am glad I did.
