I bought the XL size for these. I wear a woman's size 9 shoe, but if more shoes were available in "wide," I could wear an 8 1/2. My feet area wide across the ball of the foot, so I ordered the largest size available. I wear them in my dance class for one hour. While they are comfortable for the duration of the class, but the end of the class, I am glad to remove them because I can see the marks left on my feet and toes by the hemmed edges.The elasticity and extra padding does support my foot and provide extra padding between the ball of my foot and the dance floor. They do a better job than most of the brands I have tried in the past.

My daughter has only danced in these one time so far. But, they are FAR more comfortable than the last pair she had which were made of a lightweight "net" material. Those weren't very stretchy and ripped after two wearings.Daughter thinks these fit well and seem very sturdy.

Hold up well for a rough house teenage boy dancer.
Got these for my grandson who goes through all others like they are made from tissue paper. After 6 weeks of hours of use they are still in good shape. Believe me, this is a first! He takes the largest they sell so I hope to find them in men's sizes somewhere. I plan on getting another pair if he doesn't outgrow them in the next 2 weeks, lol. Bottom line, good product.

???Sizing
I ordered what I was pretty sure was my daughters size. She wears a ten shoe. Her dance shoes range from 10.5-12 depending on the shoe. These fit her foot fine when she put them on but when she moved around they would slide around or slip off. Had to order different pair. Will probably return.

Nice product but not if you have bunions
This is well made, good design and well priced BUT if you need to move backwards its hard to keep on the foot. For purpose I recommend Toe Sox's Full Toe Plie sock, a little pricey at $25 but guaranteed to stay on the foot since it's a full sock.I wear a size 42 (10.5) and bought the XL Danshuz which fit comfortably. I think the L would have been too tight.

Is a good option for cheaper dance pads for beginners. A little too tight even with the largest size, stretching them, and using them.
