Love these shoes. We have purchased multiple pairs of these shoes for our daughter. Both myself and the grandparents. They are good for outdoor play, easy to clean, durable, and not stiff. No worries about blisters or hurting feet. They are true to size. The colors are bright and fun! They are breathable out in the summer heat. Durability is great.
My youngest daughter loves to run around and play indoors and outdoors. She loves basic shoes but still wants them to be breathable, comfortable, and able to match all her outfits. She picked these because they were similar to the last pair she had that she outgrew. She said these are very comfy and she likes that they were available in grey because they'll go with all her outfits. As a mom, I appreciate that these seem sturdy and great quality. I think they'll be easy to clean as well. They fit her true to size
If you are looking for easy shoes for your toddler to be able to put on... These shoes are what you need! The material is great! The shoes are easy for toddlers to put on. The fit is true to size, the grip of the shoes are great when running around on the playground. The color options are great! We went with grey and they go with all of his outfits. Style is sporty! WORTH EVERY PENNY!
I bought these shoes for my son for kindergarten. He loves them. They are easy to get on, feel great to him and very lightweight. I would have given them an A+ at first, however just as any shoe that is less expensive, they don't last as long. I bought these on August 15th and it it is now October 2nd and they are very much play shoes at this point. Part of the faux leather is peeling, the toe rubber separating from the cloth. They look very worn. I have not washed them and they have been worn only during school hours for 5 days a week. He has Natives that he wears after school and on weekends but they have to have actual tennis shoes at school. I'm going to try a better brand next time. These were good for for about a month.
Update, 3 years later:We are STILL buying these shoes for my now 4 year old son. He has wide feet and he seems to grow out of brand name shoes (Vans, adidas, Nike) way faster than these Nerteo brand shoes because they are SO flexible and the mesh is very stretchy. He has never complained of his feet hurting or being sore after wearing them. The only downside is that they last about 4 month with normal wear, which honestly is “ok” in my perspective because they’re so affordable. Usually the shoes “die” when the rubber sole starts pealing back or the velcro rips. I’ve glued them to have them last longer. But generally speaking they look decent for about 4 months because they start to look beat up and grimey. That’s the ONLY reason we keep an “expensive” brand name shoe on hand- because they look newer longer. The nerteo brand shoes are perfect for daily go-to-school use for a 4 year old. A must buy!3 years ago (age 16mo):We bought the grey/white size 5 shoes for my 16mo old son. They're soft, pliable and very very light. I wouldn't let him walk around outside in the rain in them because they're thin and not waterproof at all. But for indoor use at home and daycare, they're perfect. He struggles getting the velcro undone by himself (which is great). The tongue on the them is a little wonky... it's not sewn onto the edges like most toddler/baby shoes- it's like a real tongue where you have to straighten/fix before strapping down the velcro, which is kind of annoying since putting shoes on a toddler is a task. But I would definitely recommend these shoes! They're stylish like a big brand name company, but very affordable because hell WHO wants to spend $40 on shoes for a toddler!?!
wide toe box, nice insoles, stretchy laces and nice adjustable velcro strap to keep the shoe on properly, my son loves these shoes and so do I! he has wide feet and its so hard to find a nice fitting shoe that isnt a "barefoot" shoe
Why did you pick this product vs others?:My wife and I liked the price and the style of these and were happy that they were actually in our son's size. It's hard to shop for shoes for a 4 year old who wears a size 9 because most stores don't have that size in stock for most toddler/ little boys shoes. It's also hit or miss online because size 9 shoes for young boys are either out of stock or the size isn't listed. These shoes fit perfectly and even have a little bit of room so he won't be growing out of them anytime soon...
