Best shoe for wide feet!
By far my favorite shoe for early walkers and beyond. I love that this shoe comes in multiple wide sizes to allow for proper foot development. My 2.5 year old is able to now put them on without help. This is the shoe he prefers to wear (over his Nikes). Great quality. Velcro does wear over time. Would not recommend washing machine/ dryer, but easy to spot clean or wash by hand. Sole is flexible making it easy when learning to walk. They go on sale often, so just watch!

I purchased these last minute for my 15 month old son who has Down syndrome. His feet are wide and a bit fat. He has recently started walking and is attending school so we needed to get him shoes. These are easy to get on and they don't irritate his cankles or top of his foot "fatpads". They're firm enough to give him the support he needs (he doesn't need SMOs).My only complaint is that the top is a little hard to keep velcro-d. The shoes stay on him even if it comes un-velcro-d, but it would be nice to have more vecro surface area to accomodate for that fatpad on the top of his feet.

The best wide toddler shoe!

Good for fat toddler feet
My little one has really high insteps and wide/fat feet, and tends to curl the feet in a way that makes putting shoes on impossible. The extra wide size solves the issues we normally have, and the style of these, with Velcro on either side of the laces allowing the center to completely open, makes it really easy to put these on. The color and style are also really cute, and it seems like they will hold up well. The shoes aren’t too heavy for summer, and support the feet well.Update: after 3 months the shoes aren’t staying closed quite as well. Luckily they are also getting too small, so it’s time to buy new shoes. This is acceptable for under 2 because their feet outgrow the shoes before it would be a problem but I’d be annoyed if it was for an older kid and they couldn’t wear the shoes because the Velcro didn’t hold up. Otherwise they’re in good shape after heavy heavy use…this kid likes stomping in puddles and they clean nicely in the wash.

The only tennis shoes my daughter will wear! I will say whenever she got older and closer to age 2, the Velcro started wearing out on these. I think they’re great for new walkers, but might not be suitable for more active toddlers.
