Great shoes! They are very comfortable and easy for my son to put on by himself thanks to the Boa closure system. No more struggling with laces! They feel durable and well made, holding up nicely to daily wear and play. Perfect for active kids who need supportive shoes that are also easy to use. Highly recommend!
These are just flippin cool, ok? On par with those shoes you could pump up back in the 90s, these shoes have an awesome dial to tighten the arch cover.I bought these for the daughter of a friend of mine who has been bullied at school resulting in being unmotivated to care about her appearance and doing less self care than she usually would. Major self image destruction sadly. When she saw these she lit up and was so excited by the colors and the matching headband and shirts I got her, she can't wait to wear them. Her mom said when she wears these shoes, she needs to make sure her hair is pretty and she smiles. So far, it has worked as a pick me up for sure and she is more motivated to take better care of herself, so they're already a win.So happy New balance makes so many nice kids shoes with fantastic colors and special features.
Fits my 4 year old beautifully. He loves the bright colors. The BOA system is easy enough for him to put his shoes on and take them off, independently. 10/10 recommend!
Great shoe! I wish they made it in bigger sizes because our kid is between the biggest kids size and smallest adult men’s size with BOA closure. The wide fit was comfortable and had good support for him, and the price was good. He liked the style with the BOA closure.
8 year old boy wears them. Loves them, we are on third pair due to growth. These have held up and looked nicer than the Adidas and Under Armor shoes I bought in August that both already have holes in them. NB seems to hold up the best to a very very active 8 year old.I love how it cranks closed. So much so I wish they had the same mechanism on adult shoes for me! It has held up well to daily use on the last 2 pairs, I really figured the string would break but didn’t. My son loves it and open and closes just to crank them down for fun so it really was tested a LOT so I give that a 10/10 on durability.I give the shoe 10/10 for durability overall as well! I will continue getting these as they are the best bang for the buck. The last pair I bought had lasted a year. It does look worn but no holes and still works well. His feet just grew out of them.

Great for my daughter who is still mastering tying her shoes and while we can practice that at home, I don’t have to worry about her tripping over shoelaces at school. Quick easy shoe to get on and off. Love the boa system. The only downside I’ve noticed so far is that she’s been wearing them about a month and part of the grip tread on the bottom of the shoe is already coming undone from the sole 😑 I’ll have to see if superglue helps. Too expensive for it to be coming apart already.
