Very nice made shoe for baby who has chunky feet
Was looking for good shoes for my 18 months old who just started very enjoy walking and running for a long time .bought several pairs of cheap ones which did not last very long.And her chunky feet wouldn't fit any of the girl shoes ,then I found the new balance has wild size and was on sale.so I bought it.fits just perfect and still got little bit more room for her to grow.I noticed that the new shoes seems help her to walk better than those soft bottom ones I bought before,and definitely helps tip toe walking .Overall,I am pretty happy about it .

A real solid shoe, not made of fluff and stuff!
I've been searching for a long time for good solid shoes for my son. He has a bad habit of dragging the toe of his shoe around on the ground, and twisting his feet sideways to stand on the sides of the shoes when he's bored.As a result, his shoes always end up coming apart where the fabric meets the sole of the shoe. Since all of these new shoes are made with thin breathable fabric and lightweight foam soles, he basically destroys his sneakers in a matter of days. I'm actually amazed at how hard it is to find a real pair of sneakers that isn't made out of these flimsy materials.So... Naturally, when I saw this pair of shoes, I immediately noticed that they didn't appear to be made out of foam and fluff, so I thought I would give them a try.I am in love! These are exactly what he needed, and they've held up quite well so far! We will definitely be sticking with this brand in the future!

New Balance shoes work the best with them
My 23 month old son wears Sure Step braces just past his ankles and he must wear shoes with them. New Balance shoes work the best with them. I have better luck finding New Balance shoes in wide or extra wide in his size (currently 5) on Amazon than any other online or walk in store. The insole was easily removable to allow extra space for his braced foot. Shoe laces are long enough to tie even with the extra wide of his braced foot. The tread is great! Dirt by his toes was easily wiped clean with a damp paper towel; however, the gray coloring also came off (I didn't even rub). More and more comes off with and without any damp paper towel cleaning.

These shoes are awesome...our 2 yr old son loves them and I want a pair like them too. The only issue with new balance shoes is that they seem to run a little narrow. I would suggest a wide fit for most people unless you have abnormally skinny feet.Our son is 32 lbs and about 37" tall and we got him a 8.5 (because they didn't have an 8 or 8 wide) and they fit well.
