Good fit, likely not super durable so just use them as casual shoes.
I would not recommend working out in these, they will likely get damaged. Running should be ok, but don't use these as running shoes, because they aren't really durable. I use them as casual shoes, just walking. They are very comfortable and the insoles come out if you want to put some Dr. Scholls in them, just cut the new insole into the shape of the original insole that came with the shoe.Update: I've been wearing them, running and walking every day in them for the past month and a half. They hold up very well. Nothing has happened to them, they just got dirty, so I mixed dishwashing detergent in water and scrubbed the sole and outside of the shoe. They still look pretty new, even after falling, stepping in mud, taking sharp steps, etc. For the price, they're very decent shoes and I'd recommend them.

I've been through several pairs of New Balance shoes, relegating them to gym duty as the get too scruffy. I've gotten different styles over the years as older models were replace but the selection criteria remained the same -- they shouldn't look too weird. so I'd go for muted colors. These are a great option, looking like black dress shoes while providing the NB comfort for walking.

Good shoe,but....
I had this model of shoe that I had before that I wore constantly at work for at least 3 years. I think I remember that they were more comfortable at first wear. Also the reason I bought a new pair was that the laces had worn through on the old pair so I figured buy new. I have had this pair for almost 2 months now and the eyelets on the left shoe are already pulling out and tearing the leather. The old pair had round laces and this pair has the flat style so maybe that is why they are tearing out. My wife said to return them but after 2 months of wear I don't think I can, maybe I just got a bad pair.
