Fits great out of box definitely snug but sure they will break in as most new balance do. Love the way they look and they seem really well constructed. Really nice leather with mesh around the ankle. Out of box they seem really good. Definitely has a lot of arch support so if you don’t like that; steer away.

Small compared to sb dunks sizing

Definitely run small. I wear Nike sb dunks size 10 consistently but the new balance tiago 808s felt significantly tighter in size 10. If I were buying again I would get 10 and a half maybe even 11s.

It's skater shoe all right

These are definitely skater shoes. You will see other reviews about how tight they are, but that is by design. It is tight because skaters like to leave the laces untied so they can slip them on an off. They push the lace ends under the laces on the top of the shoe. When they slip them on the just pull the laces to tighten the top. Some actually cut the laces so they are just short pulls on the side. The arch is a bit high, but I have a high arch on my foot, so it doesn't bother me. These are very comfortable and, as always with New Balance, are well made. Good price for these too.Update. I love these shoes so much, I bought a second pair in black and red.

Runs really small like others said

Oh man I really wanted to love this shoe, I really liked the way it looked. I wear a 11 in almost every shoe, and some a 10.5 so I would say I’m on the smaller side of 11. So I felt comfortable ordering these online without trying them on in a 11. When they came I was exited to try them on, the laces are also really tough to push through the holes but that’s easy fix. Anyway they are way too small and narrow, and very stiff and heavy. No way I could wear these, I even tried on a second time with thinner sock. So luckily for my 15 year old son who wears a 10 now I was able to give them to him and they fit perfect. Not sure if I will even try ordering a bigger size for me because I feel like they were definitely narrow and a bit stiff and heavy. It’s to bad because they are a cool looking shoe
