Great as a second pair or office boot
I use these as a light duty work boot for commercial/industrial HVAC trade. Will buy another pair soon.Pro’s:• very stylish. I always get compliments• very lightweight• flexible and breathable• waterproof is very good but not perfect• side zipper is real nice feature• wide toe box (not as wide as keens but still very good••Cons:• they don’t like chemicals (any cleaner or other building chemicals that accidentally get spilled)• stain easier than most• laces suck• tread is softer and wears quicker than a high end boot. Conclusion: great as a light duty second pair or office pair. They are more comfortable than the Jordan 6 boots. The composite toe is barely noticeable in everyday walking but it’s solid.Side note: since I had some stains I tried conditioning the leather, DO NOT do that. It changes the color permanently.

This is the only brand of shoe that works for my wide feet
I tried Keen and they were too tight. I read reviews on other top brand work shoes and got the sense they didn't really have wide options. New Balance is the only shoe brand that I can wear with my wide feet. I am very grateful for that. The shoes are comfortable and so far prove to be waterproof. I am not using the zipper but it doesn't bother me. I didn't think New Balance sold work boots but I am very grateful they do. They are lightweight and have a great insert with a decent arch support. They absolutely meet my need for a work boot. The price is high but is also comparable to the other brands. I would highly recommend these for anyone with wide feet.

comfortable, lightweight, composite toe
definitely one of the best work boots I've ever purchased, I'm on my second pair now. I like the fact that they have a side zipper so instead of tying and re-tying your work boots each time you put them on you can just tie once zip it and forget it and just zip them off once you get off work. They're pretty lightweight for being safety boots - composite toe for the win!

Junk
I have owned several.pair of New Balance work shoes and these were the absolute worse pair. I work on a concrete floor 8 hours or more a day. There is absolutely no cushion. My feet started hurting with in 2 hours of having them on at work. They are just junk to me.

Shoes are quite comfortable
There are few things I dislike with the shoes:1. They are heavy because of the steel toe.2. The insoles are thin and need to be replaced.Other than that the shoes are okay. I walk whole day (after replaced the insoles...) and they are comfortable and durable.

So comfortable and durable, I bought second pair
I had red wing boots and then timberlands, my pinky toe was hurting so bad. I couldn’t be off my feet long enough to heal it. I bought these boots and absolutely love them. I walk 5 miles a day on concrete for work, I won’t buy anything else. I also love the zipper. 10.5 wide fit perfectly. Boots don’t last me long, but these are still holding up
