My new favorite wide shoe replacing Kinvara 9
Propel V2 is a good replacement for Kinvara #9. I used to be a huge fan of Saucony Kinvara 9 - super comfy, springy, and fit just right my wide feet. However, every iteration past 9 got progressively narrower and stiffer, to a point where Kinvara #11's toebox is 0.5" narrower than #9, gives me cramps on longer runs, and rubs against the back of my feet. Propel V2 Wide feels about the same width as Kinvara #9, albeit not nearly as springy and with a larger drop (I would prefer a smaller drop). Propel V2 also seems like it would last longer than Kivaras thanks to a thicker outsole, at the expense of some additional weight.I'm still on the fence about the back of the shoe and the laces. I'm one week in and still trying to dial them in. Depending on how tight you lace them, the shoe either feels loose or too tight, but not 'just right'. On the other hand, I just ran two long runs - a faster 16mi and then 32 miles (50km) in rain in a somewhat 'loose' mode. No blisters, no discomfort, no nothing (I did put some aquaphor on the back of the feet just in case). I suspect they might just 'feel' loose but in fact be perfectly locked in.

Good cool shoe
No real complaints about the shoe. It was cool and comfortable as a running shoe should always be. My question ended up being the potential durability of the shoe. It seemed to age faster than other NB shoes I have had in the past. But I didn’t have em long enough to say for sure

Excellent Shoe.
I've ran hundreds, if not thousands of miles in my life. Worn every shoe you can imagine. Brooks, Altra, Salmon, Hoka, ASICS, Adidas, etc. This specific shoe is one of the best shoes I've ever worn, durable, comfortable and just overall a great shoe. Shoes last me about 6 months before they either get tossed or regulated to the wear around the house status. These finally reached that level and I'll wear em till they fall apart.

Tongue is short
The shoes are good as far as running shoes go. I run two miles a day and they are comfortable. My one complaint would be that the tongue is short and I always have to go fishing for it when I put them on.
