Great cushion, mid energy return
The FuelCell is a maximum cushion shoe that still allows you to feel the ground. It provides a cloud-like shoe that’s connected to the ground- a rather rare combo. The shock absorption is much better than the energy return. It provides a very comfortable ride but isn’t the best for speed.I found it true to size. There is room for my orthotics without my foot floating around. It provides very secure and comfortable fit.I can’t speak for the durability, although the look and feel of the shoe raises questions on that front.All in all, a great shoe. I think all shoes are overpriced these days, but this represents a relatively good deal.

Usually a Hoka guy but have recently switched over to New Balance.Comfy. Durable. I have wide feet and there's no issue within the toe box for me. Comfortable for walking but also used them on treadmill and outside running. Not super airy like other running shoes. Will come back to this style for daily long runs.Good arch support and very functional. Even pairs well with normal clothes. The eggplant color isn't too much either and is actually a nice subtle compliment.

The men’s fuel cell rebel V5 is new balances latest model in this brand. Came out last summer. The style is cool and colors are nice. Beautiful, soft and - not too spongy! They are also lighter than previous models….I think!??

Great runn
I've been running with Hoka exclusively for years. Read a bunch of reviews for this shoe and decided to just take a shot and I wasn't disappointed. Beautiful bounce and extremely. I can actually get moving at a speedy clip for a cushioned shoe.

Another solid NB shoe!
Having super wide feet, im pretty much a new balance lifer. These shoes are pretty similar to the V4. Bouncy, light and one improvement I've noticed is the material by the toes seems stronger, my V4s have already torn due to the whole wide foot thing. Definitely a solid running / everyday shoe and price point isnt bad, would recommend!
