Excellent shoes!
Very comfortable and light. I've had these for quite a while and they are still great to wear.

Very comfortable and light. I've had these for quite a while and they are still great to wear.
Excellent shoe, a little narrow but good for speed work.
What is there to say about New Balance that hasn’t already been said? Great fit, instant comfort with zero break in period. Unmatched in the sneaker game in my opinion. These specifically continue a great line of trail inspired kicks. Highly recommend.
These fit like other NB shoes I've owned, maybe a bit looser/ less snug. Only 3 stars because the center lugs on the sole wear out almost immediately. The material feels more like a closed- cell foam than rubber. I have an older Leadville/ Summit model and the treads have held up for years, now doing yard duty and still can't kill 'em. I would not reorder this model of NB
Summit Unknown is the greatest trail running shoe ever made. I’ve worn these for Long distance, off-road running including ultras. I’ve run in them in diverse climate such as Illinois and Arizona. These shoes combine the speed of a very light, fast road racing shoe with The essential features of trail running footwear. namely, they feature serious traction, a rock stop plate in the sole and toe protection. These are warm weather shoes. They are neither insulated nor waterproof. But, they dry fast. The only issue is, I wish they made them wider. I need to order them a half size up.
I retired my second pair of NB MTSUMV1 Trail Shoe and picked these up for trail running. Even though I wore the MTSUMV1 sockless, I knew better than to try a new pair of shoes without socks, but I didn't expect to need crew socks to protect my heels. Did a 3 mile trail and my heels were dripping blood and puss by the time I got back to the trailhead. Also, way too cushiony, so I have to precariously balance against the spring back as I'm running down hill. Looking over the reviews, I see over 90% of people are just wearing these around town - not a great population for rating trail running shoes.
Received my shoes a few weeks ago, I wear these everyday and I am on my feet most of the day. Extremely comfortable and cushioned insole. So far they have held up to my needs. I only wear NB because some foot, knee, and back issues and these are exactly what I have come to expect from NB.
