These shoes are absolute BANGERS! Easily my favorite plated long run shoe. Comfort for days. The cushion to energy return ratio is perfect for paces under 6:30/mi. I ran a half marathon in them back in March and I felt totally supported and protected the entire time while also having enough speed to get a major PR. These are the shoes I've chosen to run my Marathon later this year and I feel totally confident in saying they are a fantastic option for middle of the pack runnersaiming for a 3:30 finish.

Comfortable, lightweight, fast
Have completed a half marathon and a 10K with these. Very comfortable, no undue rubbing and no potential blistering. Did one 5 mile training run prior to the races with these and found there was no break-in required. I plan to use these for racing only and will use them for an upcoming marathon. These are my first elite running shoes so not sure how they compare to the Nike Vaporfly/Alphafly but am thrilled with the V4's

Very good compared to Nike
The tongue of the shoe, yes, pretty garbage. Going to blister near the Achilles as well, based on the design of the shoe. Pros: propels you forward based on the design—light, but not the lightest carbon plate shoe, but still very light. Good support for heel runners; the color and design scheme look flashy, but not too much. Overall, a good starter super shoe compared to Nike's quality.

Some good, some bad, wouldn’t buy this version again.
This had to have been one of the worst experiences with an elite shoe I have ever had. The upper is not comfortable, and the heel digs into the Achilles, rubbing and tearing the skin until the shoe fills with blood. I had to take a heat gun to peel back the heel so it would re-form and curl backwards and not dig into me just to be able to use them. They run about a half size too small as well.On the good side, the cushion and plate create an amazing combo of plush and firm, a perfect balance of squish and pop. Nice and lightweight overall. Definitely a race day and speed training shoe, but not a recovery or mixed purpose one. Not reliable on dirt.Not impressed with the shoe for the price. I’m in the minority, but that’s my honest review.
