New Balance quality again
This shoe is not only great looking comfortable. The toe box is wide enough for the comfort needed in down hill hiking. Great insole feel. I always buy 1/2 size up in any hiking shoe. It is lightweight enough for comfortable hiking. The quality of New Balance shoes makes me a life long customer to be able to say and expect the best value for the cost .

Fits Great, Looks Great-ish, Feels Great
New Balance has always been my first choice shoe because, unlike Nike and some others, they understand that feet come in different widths, including 4E!!! Fit is perfect, and the shoe is very supportive for all-day wear. It has been designed for walking, not court, and you can feel the difference. Wish the design were just a little more toned down but comfort overrides optics. The way they have designed the toe graphics doesn't scream "GUNBOATS" with my 13 4E feet. Very happy with the purchase and actually went back to buy another color 1 week later.

Comfortable but sole wore quickly
Comfortable but the sole quickly wore out. Soon after they caused soreness on my feet. They were great shoes for about three months

Great New Balance
Playing hockey most of my life definitely did not make my feet better . These absolutely help. I’ve gone through 5 pairs will keep buying them . Not the softest on the bottom but last at least 6-8 months of daily wear .

Clouds for Your Feet
These New Balance sneakers are stupid comfortable — like, “I might start jogging just to have an excuse to wear them more” comfortable. Slip them on and suddenly walking to the mailbox feels like a luxury activity. The cushioning is perfect: soft enough that your feet feel hugged, but supportive enough that you’re not sinking into marshmallows. The fit is spot-on, no weird pinching, no break-in blisters — just instant comfort straight out of the box.I honestly thought sneakers were sneakers until I put these on. Now every other pair of shoes I own feels like medieval torture devices. If you see me wearing dress shoes at a wedding, just know I’m secretly wishing I had these on instead.

Narrower than listed width, very poor comfort, poorly manufactured
Item: New Balance 626 V2 Men'sSize: 10 XX-WideStatus: ReturnedRecommendation: Not recommendedDetail: How New Balance has gone down hill over the years. The last decent shoe I had from New Balance was the discontinued 847 V4. However, this review is for is for the 626 V2. The length is spot on. However, the width is not XX-Wide. I would venture its more like X-Wide at best. The shoe is also uncomfortable because of the poor width and limited toe room. Nike and Adidas have always focused on athletes with long and narrow feet. They have also charged a premium for their athlete branded shoes. New Balance used to be a shoe company that targeted those of us with wider feet, I'd say about 50% of the population. They also were reasonably priced, well engineered, and well manufactured. Fast forward to today. New Balance has forgotten about us 50% of the population. It is oddly targeting Nike and Adidas customers, at roughly 80% of the cost and 50% of the quality. Seriously, you will see multiple glue marks at the seams. If I had a narrow foot I'd buy Nike rather than New Balance as New Balance isn't in/cool/hip/radical/etc and never will be without Jordan/LaBron/etc and Nike quality design/build. It amazing New Balance is still in business. I will never purchase another New Balance shoe again and encourage those with wider feet to consider APIS, Drew, Propet, or Skechers as they are more like what New Balance used to be, especially Propet.

Fit is snug
I've worn quite a few pair of NB sneakers like this and the width was the main reason for my purchases. The other brands of running shoe don't make a 12 wide but NB always has since the 80's.These however, are snug almost tight for a 12 W. The cushioning is great but the fit not so much.
