Try before you buy

In New Balance defense: the shoes are absolutely beautiful. However if the shoe strings broke or the contraption that reels in the shoe stings broke,(yes one pic shows a very frayed super skinny string and it was received this way), you would be screwed!!!Please note my fiancée loved the style and design, just not reviving a very worn pair of shoes and nearly broken shoe string.Try before you buy is great, but not when the product is trashed out.We returned them unfortunately.
