I got these as an upgrade to my 1080v12's which are a great all around shoe, but have zero water resistance, so your feet are soaked in 5 seconds in the rain. The 880v14 Gore-tex are just as comfortable as the 1080's, have a grippier outsole and are practically waterproof in the rain. The upper sole is flexible and allows your toes to move freely and I haven't had any problems fit wise. All in all, an amazing sneaker.
These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Feels like you are walking on clouds. I recommend these for everyday walking.
Fits true to size, very comfortable and soft cushioning. I was debating between this and the 1080 V14, but chose this because of the Gore-Tex. I also like the look and design of the long tongue loop/keeper loop. I haven't tested the waterproofing yet so I can't speak on that. The only issue I have is the Black/Phantom color, the upper is not true black, it's a faded black. You can especially notice it by looking at the black midsole compared to the upper. Other than that, it's a nice overall shoe.
