Excellent traction and speed
I bought these for ultimate frisbee. My other pair is Nike Force Savage Shark size 7 football cleats. The Force Savage series are made for linemen. They are extra durable, well cushioned and fit comfortably when wearing ankle braces. These New Balance Freeze cleats are size 7.5. The size 7 are the same length, but have a tighter toe box. These NB are lighter and more agile. I can definitely feel the extra speed and make quicker cuts. The cleats are solidly punched into the dirt like no other, even on dry sandy turf. They are tighter, harder to get in and out, and harder to lace up than the Nikes, but not uncomfortably so, even with ankle braces. The Nike has better ankle protection for sure, as it covers the entire ankle. The NB are not as tall and allows the ankle to turn more. Overall, the Nike is more comfortable and the New Balance perform better. I have also tried the Nike Alpha Huarache size 7. They are uncomfortably tight around the arch. If I had ordered a 7.5, my toes might have had too much room in front and not be able to use the front toe cleats of football and lacrosse shoes.

Fantastic shoes
I should have bought two pairs the way my kid raves about these shoes. Says he feels like he is faster in these cleats.Lightweight, durable; works well on turf or grass. The high top, when laced all the way up, gives good ankle support.Hopefully these will still be sold when my kids grows out of them.

Great all around cleat
My son uses these for Lacrosse and football. He loves the overall feel and performance of them (much more comfortable than football cleats). Around the edges the cleats are angled out slightly helping to reduce roll out when cutting hard, allowing for confident route running and less likely for ankle injuries.

Runs a little small
I really like the style, color and the support it has but they do run a little small. I would go up half a size next time

Pretty solid cleats
These things are amazing. Unlike Nike, these don’t mush your toes together, lots of room in the toes for more stability. Footbed is a bit weak and you can feel a few individual cleats poking through, replacing the footbed with thicker ones fixed that.

Great clears! Sons say way more comfortable on the feet and seem to hold up better. The NB Freeze V2’s were falling apart quickly. The new V3’s seems to be much and held up well after a season. Go for the new version worth the extra money

Comfortable
My son (17) loved these so much he got a 2nd pair. They were wide enough for his big feet (12.5) but not sloppy. He said these were more comfortable than the other name brands out there. Those tend to be more narrow and no room in the toe box.
