Light weight but supportive
These are very good and comfortable shoes. I use them for walking (I'm no longer able to run) and walk 3+ miles a day in them. Very light weight but supportive. The only knock I would give them is that the are a bit noisy. Squish, squish, squish. Still, neither my dog nor I are really bothered by it.

Perfect ratio of stability & cushion
Absolutely amazing shoes, I was intentionally ignoring trying these shoes from last couple of years because they are heavy on paper, but I’m completely wrong about them after wearing those. They are still little heavy, however as soon as you wear them you would not really feel that on these shoes somehow. They are super stable for mild & over pronates, enough cushioning for the feet & durable grip on the bottom. Secure fit and true to the size. Only con is, upper is little thicker on these shoes which makes your feet warm after that initial 3-5miles. Perfect shoes for walk, jog & run but not for pacing.

V13 vs V14
The V14 is the replacement for the V13, and just when I thought nothing could be better than the V13 then here comes the V14 with noticeably more support and just a little bit but not too much more cushion. Feels great. I’ve tried other shoes and always come back to New Balance, and this evolution from a V13 to a V14 is yet another good reason why. An outstanding shoe. Sidenote: I am referring to the 860 not the 1080. I mistakenly bought a pair of the 1080s and they are way too soft and do not have great support. The 860 V14 is the way to go.
