Just played my first match in these new shoes, received two compliments, and they felt great on the court. High stability, great cushioning, easier on the joints than a lot of other shoes.
This version 2 of the CT Rally shoe is great for pickleball, but it's not quite as wide as the version 1.
Easy to work with
I really want to like the V2s. I’ve owned 6 pairs of the original, so I was excited to see my size is available in a colorway I liked. But, alas, I will probably return these.Pros: I really like added protection around the top/sides of the shoes. It will really up the durability overall. I was really looking forward to that upgrade when I saw the photos.Cons:1. Wide does not feel as wide as original (either more padding it smaller shoe, idk)2. Lacing the shoes is difficult as they’ve made some aesthetic-over-function decisions that I do not care for3. Feels stiffer overallI’ve been sitting on my couch wearing these for about 30 minutes, and my feet hurt. I’m not even using them for sports and I want to take them. I would try sizing up, but there aren’t any that size available currently.
