I love these for tempo/interval training. They likely won’t last too long so i wouldn’t waste these on 5k/10k unless for a race, but i think that’s intended. My first carbon shoe. Great if you can find a deal
The shoe is great for power walk races and are comfortable. Fit true to size. Lightweight and breathable.
They are maxi fly comfortable. I have custom insoles that are very large, and they fit in these shoes because the shoes are very flexible. That’s hard to find. The issue was a section of upper that was strangely tight across my foot right in front of the lace section. It’s like 1/2” wide at most, the rest of the shoe is not too tight. I don’t have that issue with the special insole in any other shoes, so it’s something unique to these shoes. If it wasn’t tight there they’d be terrific. I wanted them for indoor exercise, they are stable without being overly planted, they feel nimble. I do not think they’d be great for outdoor running, they would probably not last long.
If you want a running shoe that’s comfortable and supportive, this isn’t it. Stiff and hard midsole. Sent back after realizing they would not work for longer runs.
I have this pair and a second pair in a different color because I like them so much.These shoes are incredibly lightweight but yet very comfortable.They are silent when you are talking around.The color of your socks will show through the upper material. It’s mesh with holes for excellent breathability.I wear size 12 in converse and vans, but I needed a size 12.5 in this shoe.
I really hate to give a 1 star review because I exclusively wear New Balances and I’ve never had a single issue with any of them until now. I got these shoes less than 2 months ago and they’re already falling apart. I’ve hardly even worn them because it’s the rainy season down here in Florida, so I have limited opportunities to go walking/running. They don’t fit the same as my other New Balances and they’ve become completely shredded after hardly any use. First time I’ve ever wanted a refund for New Balances
Good track shoe. They work well in a training shoe rotation with the New Balance SC Elite 3 and the New Balance SC Trainer v2.
