Roomy and comfortable
Great daily trainer running shoe. Did 10 miles right out of the box and by the end of the run, no hot spots or soreness. 9 wide seemed a tad too big, but with a good pair of running socks and feet swelling, the fit was great and comfortable. Laces didn't need to be tied too tight for the secure feel. Definitely adds some pop and spring back to running and I noticed a bit faster times.Overall great shoe and I'd actually chose this over some of my other daily trainers (mostly Asics) for the comfort, cushion, and responsiveness. The Asics Superblast comes the closest followed by my Novablast.

Solid choice to log a ton of miles
Having tried out the FuelCell Supercomp Trainer V2s on various terrains, I can attest to their outstanding performance. I can run slow for recovery or distance runs, but I can also pick up the pace a bit for some of my quicker pace workouts. The shoe seems finely tuned for seasoned runners and casual joggers, focusing on the essentials of stability and cushioning. It's not as "bouncy" as v1 but it's definitely more stable. Overall, pretty sure I can run 400-500 miles in this shoe no problem.

My favorite running shoes
Enough cushion for comfort and support along with the responsiveness of an every day trainer. Quality of these and appearance are top notch. The color of the white looking shoe is more so a very light grey, which I like because it increases durability when it comes to holding up to stains from dirt and such. The fit is standard so buy the shoe size that you typically buy and you should be more than happy with these shoes.

Amazing running shoe for heavier runners 6.2ft tall 280lbw
I recently got back into running after gaining a bunch of weight. I had owned 8 pairs of brooks over the years and had great luck with them when I was in the military but since I got out and put on a bunch of weight I had not been able to find a brooks shoes to help me get back into running (brooks doesn’t really have any max cushion shoes at this time). I bought a glycerin gts which worked great but lack of cushion would leave my knees and hips hurting because of all the extra weight that I put on. I started looking into other brands for max cushion shoes and after much research settled on these shoes. These shoes have performed better than expected. I can run longer and when I’m done my knees and joints do not hurt nearly as bad as they did in my other shoes. Highly recommend it for any heavier runners looking to get back into running.

Fun, but not durable
These are hands down my favorite shoes for logging miles now, legs are surprisingly not beat up after many 20 milers in these dogs. Personally I think they work for tempo runs also but I know many others disagree. That said, having gone through 2 pairs of v2 already I’m getting 350-375 miles before they’re toast. Got 500 miles out of v1 so that’s really disappointing. They’re obviously not trail shoes but i’ve been using them for trail runs after replacing them to squeeze more miles out of them on the softer ground. Hope NB improves durability with v3

Built for daily training with SPEED but.....
It is an absolute beauty of a shoe. Gorgeous!!! Great value for money. Plenty of foam, gusseted tongue, light breathable upper, reflective accents, carbon plate, springy and bouncy. But........ its for established runners. By that I mean if you are need of max cushion shoe to remove the harsh impact on your ankles and shin, this shoe is NOT for you!!! Established runners have much stronger lower extremities that are strengthened over time. This shoe is for them. I am new to running on roads and sidewalks (6 months) so the Fresh Foam More v4 and Bondi 8 is ideal. Despite the stack height, this has a jarring impact on my lower extremities at 9 min mile or slower. When you pick up the pace to a 8 min mile or less, then the shoe comes alive and its less stressful on your legs. It makes you want to go faster. Unfortunately I am a long way off from training at that pace. I gave it 5 stars because the shoe truly has everything, just not for me in my early stages of becoming a runner. Regrettably, I have to return it.

Hoka & Altra convert.
I'm a Hoka and Altra guy but these New Balances have out-Hoka'd the Hokas.Hokas have lost their squish, so have a lot of Altras, and they've tried to remain competitive with denser EVA and recycled crap. I'm just catching up, learning that New Balance, Asics, Nike and others have joined the high stack height category with better offerings than Hokas in many cases. Cliftons are still great and I have some Mafate Speed 4s, so I know about ProFly midsoles which are better than their junk EVA.These New Balances are light, comfy, plush & bouncy. They're somehow squishy while still being responsive. They are supple, yet stable. I love them. I have started running again because of them.
