Perfect golf show for wide foot player
After viewing and reading reviews on other “wide” width golf shoes I choose to go with NB due to reviews, but also knowing previous sneakers I purchased from NB fit well. These fit perfect, nice and light to wear, comfortable for 18 holes, and kept my feet dry and cool. The spikes on the bottom are placed out well and helped improve my stance and keeping my feet planted when swinging. They look nice and go well with wearing with shirts to pants. Very happy with the purchase and investment and can see a few seasons of use from these. I clean the shoes after each outing, brushing off any dust/sand and use a tooth brush to clear out any grass or chunks or dirt stick by the spikes. Your feet will thank you in investing in a good pair of golf shoes

Great fit and feel

Comfortable shoes, but tightness in the toe area
I play golf at least twice a week, and these are a very functional, waterproof shoe. The laces are much too long though, and are easilyi stepped on even when tied properly. I think that fourteen inches of lacing from each side before you tie the shoes is excessive. Also, my left big toe has become sore due to the snugness in the toe box. Very good fit otherwise, shoes are typical size for my feet.

Typical size in New Balance is 9.5 wide but went with 9 extra wide which is indeed extra wide and adequate for flat feet. Vertical space in the toe box is very adequate with the midsection and heel being held secure with the lacing system. Inside of the shoe is very plush and insole is comfortable to walk in all day. No arch support but insole is removable for insert. Placement of the seven replaceable spikes makes rotation through the swing feel secure and stable. NB logo and midsole TPU (camo design) are shiny, with the rest of the shoe being matte or mesh. Total weight is light considering it is a waterproof spiked golf shoe. More colorways would be nice but overall I love the fit and function of this golf shoe. Highly recommend - five stars *****

LOVE THESE SHOES!
Been playing golf for 35 years. I have size 12-13 / 4E+ duck feet. These are the best fitting golf shoes I've ever worn. Just finished a weekend of 54 holes, and my feet were the last thing I thought about all weekend. The support is spot on. They look great. They're not the easiest to keep clean, but that's my fault for not staying in the fairway! Will probably buy another pair of two. They're perfectly comfortable! My Adidas and FJs are now in the trash.

True to Size
So many reviewers said these run small. I wear a 10.5 in other brands and 10.5 in these shoes fit perfectly. A little stiff but overall pretty comfortable. I'll be wearing these around the house before I walk eighteen. They have the traditional padded tongue and the heels are not notched. I noticed excessive heel slippage in the X Defenders that had a smooth thin tongue and no notched heal. I did not have any heel slippage with these. I am a little concerned with the synthetic uppers and how well they breathe. All my Footjoys had leather uppers. Will update review after I walk eighteen.

Nice shoe but not as comfortable as the Minimus model
Reasonably good price (~$90) and seems durable after one golf season but is a bit on the stiff side. It took 10-15 rounds to break them in. I had to put a band aid on the bone that sticks out from your ankle to provide some additional cushioning from the side of the right shoe. Left shoe is fine. I had the Minimus model before these and they last over 200 rounds and were ultra comfortable but evidently no longer available from Amazon.
