good but snugger than 840s
Sun morning: Just tried them on - bought these NB strictly for running, will use my older pair of NB 840v5 at the gym. Had another pair of 840v4 that were 5 years old and worn - the 840s fit well, with a little toe room, about 1/4 of an inch... these 990V6 are snugger - I took the tags off so I'll keep them. A bit snugger in the toe box. Comfortable, but the real test is on the field. Why did NB discontinue the 840s??These aren't like the 990s I ran in years ago... Have to try Asics again. The only two shoe I've ever worn are Asics and New Balance. Never tried Sacouny or Brooks. Always disliked Nikes.

Hurt my feet. Too late
These are so uncomfortable. They sit in a closet until I throw them away. I don’t want to donate them because they will hurt someone else’s feet. Sad because my feet hurt and now I don’t have the money because they took forever to get to me and then before I know for sure if I like them it’s too late to return. I used to like new balance .
