Have worn this particular style for years and I buy a new pair every year. These shoes are comfortable, give good support and look nice. Think this particular model is discontinued however, so glad I could get one last pair.
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and look good too!!! I keep buying them over and over again.
Nice, soft and comfortable shoes. Fit perfect. Too bad the 940 style is out.
Very comfortable. Plenty of toe room.
This is my fourth pair of 840 running shoes. It is only available on Amazon. NB is not manufacturing it anymore. They seem to have moved to a less expensive version, made of materials that wear out quickly, This version has a roomy toe-box, a reinforced strip around the entire front of the shoe, and a strong rubber sole. Not so for the current version sold by NB. The toe-box is narrower, there is no reinforcement surrounding the front, and the sole is made of foam. The newer version is made of materials that do not last as long as this one.
I have wide feet so thought these would be a good try but unfortunately they were not a good fit for my particular feet but could be fine for others with a high foot. No matter how tight I tried to get the laces these shoes would not fit snug. There was just so much extra room on the top of the foot and toes that my foot was sliding around in these. The width was fine, may even a bit too big, but I did get the wides because usually regular doesn't work for me but I maybe could have gone with regular. There also seems to be unnecessary padding in various parts of the shoe making it even bigger and bulkier than needed, it looked like i had Frankenstein feet they were so huge and bulky. The padding around the top/ankle was odd too, it had extra padding there as if it was trying to hold on to your ankle more snugly to compensate for the rest of the shoe being too big, but I found that padding to be hard and oddly shaped and hurt from just the one minute I tried them on. If you have wide and high feet, just overall large feet, these could work out well for you.
