Wearing out very quickly
Comfortable and waterproof. After 3 months tread is worn out.Should have lasted at least 12 months for the price, not 3 or 4. I have never had shoes wear out this fast.

Even better than expected
After hiking in the rain, I found that these are the real deal. The bottom 2+ inches are water proof. Above that water will come in from the talk. Very comfortable. Size fit is accurate. 7

Love the shoe but……
Love this shoe but the sizing is small. I normally wear an 8.5 med in regular shoes and a 9 med in athletic shoes (I’m not a runner) however these were both slightly too short and slightly too narrow. I know with the gortex they won’t stretch at all so I am returning and ordering a 9.5 wide. I believe that will do the trick! Hope this helps someone.UPDATE: received the 9.5 wide today and it’s too long. Width feels better but length seems significantly longer than the 9 so sadly going to have to return these as well.

I have been wearing New Balance Fresh Foam 880 shoes for a while and was happy, but my feet did get wet in the rain or in the wet grass. These are a gamechanger. Keep my feet dry and comfy in the rain and still as comfortable and supportive as my other New Balance shoes. Wish I had found these sooner!I did need to size up compared to other shoes I wear. I usually wear 7 in most shoes (sometimes even 6 1/2) , 7 1/2 in running shoes, but I needed size 8 in these (as well as in the last pair of non-waterproof New Balance 880s I had gotten)
