Great Shoes!
I'm so happy with these shoes! I just got back from a 2-week trip in which I did a lot of hiking on steep trails. The grip on these shoes is excellent! I didn't slip once! They are extremely comfortable and yet feel very stable on rocky terrain as well. And they're cute! They seem true to size, but I would say that they are not terribly wide in the toe box. It didn't bother me, but is something to be aware of if you look for that in a trail runner. I think they were a great deal at this price, too.

I was really excited to try the New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro V7, as they have great reviews for comfort and durability. The shoes look amazing and feel well-made, with excellent cushioning and grip. However, I had to return them because the size didn’t work for me.Pros:✅ Super comfortable – The Fresh Foam X midsole feels soft yet supportive.✅ Great traction – The Vibram outsole provides excellent grip on various surfaces.✅ Breathable & durable – The upper material feels sturdy but still allows airflow.✅ Stylish design – Looks great for both hiking and casual wear.Sizing Tip:Ordering hiking shoes online is tricky because hiking socks are thicker than everyday socks, and feet can swell after hours of walking. I ordered my usual size, but when I tried them on at home with hiking socks, they felt too snug. If you wear thick socks or need extra room, I’d recommend going half a size up.Final Thoughts:These are amazing trail shoes with top-notch quality. I always wear a size 9 Mshoe. Based on other reviews, I bought a 9.5 M My toes are at the end of the shoe. I had to return and exchange for a wide because even though the toe box felt roomy, wearing the shoes was causing toe and foot pain. Have run in the new pair now 3 - 4 times and seem ok.I bought the purple and orange and love the look. They look super-cool and are comfortable to walk in. They fit like a typical New Balance running shoe ie felt "right" based on me favoring New Balance in the past.Knocking a star off bc New Balance should be able to figure out how to get consistent sizing.

I got these because I love the color pattern and I needed some new trail shoes for walks and runs. I've always gotten trail shoe and these habe worn horribly for less than a years use. I was noticing today (~9 months after I bought them) the top has a tear and the toe guards are peeling off. I do wear these often but for the price point I would expect more than 9 months use before they look tattered.
