I think these are great for a soft shoe! I like the wide base because it feels more stable. It’s definitely tall and soft! I think it’ll take some getting used to if you’re used to wearing something like a Hoka Bondi 8/9 or a Brooks ghost max 2.Overall it’s very comfortable and a good walking shoe! And it’s true to size! I’d definitely recommend this, especially for people with wider feet, bigger runners and walkers like myself !

Let Down by New Balance
New Balance Fresh Foam X More has been my go-to comfortable shoe for over 10 years. But I'm very disappointed with the Fresh Foam X More V6. I'd been wearing V4 for several years. I snagged several pairs when they went on sale, so I completely skipped V5. I've been trying to wear the V6 pair when I knew I'd need to be standing for hours to compare them to my V4 shoes. After a couple of hours in the V6 shoes, my feet start feeling tired and I start feeling my arthritis pain. As soon as I switch back to one of my V4 pairs, my feet stop feeling tired, I'm free from pain, and I can keep working on my feet. Hopefully I have enough V4 pairs to hang in there until V7 comes out, because I'm not wasting money buying any more pairs of V6.
