These shoes are extremely comfortable. I've tried several different brands of safety toe tennis shoes & these are by far the best. They are not terribly heavy & they give a lot of support. I've worn NB trainers (non safety-toe) for years due to back problems & these provide the same level of comfort which I did not expect to find in a safety-toe shoe. I work as a Rural Carrier (mail) & am in & out of vehicle constantly & on my feet a lot. These shoes are extremely comfortable all day everyday.

Nice shoes
These are really nice shoes. Just what you expect from New Balance. I just wish I would have noticed that they said they were steel toed shoes. If I would have known that I wouldn't have gotten them. By the time I was going to use them, it was too late to return them. If you are looking for steel toed shoes these would be perfect for you. Great fit and look.

Good but
These are good shoes but they are heavy. I understand it has steel toe but it could have been little less heavy. Feet does start to hurt the longer you keep them on. It's definitely hard to wear them for 8 hours. The weight and not so comfort interior makes these shoes 3.5 star.

Run large
I wear these for work 8+ hours a day. They are very comfortable, but they do run big. I think I may have been able to go a 1/2 size down, but didn’t try because I needed them for work immediately. I put an insert in to tighten them up a little. There is a LOT of toe room.

So disappointing
Absolutely disappointing for this brand. Toe area is so tight! Yes they are steel toed shoes, but the fit was so tight in that area of the shoe that after wearing these shoes to work for three days it caused so much pain that I could barely walk normal, the pain was that bad!
