I do a lot of trail running and these shoes are amazing! Didn’t even have to break in because right off the bat they felt so comfortable!The cushion support is great for all terrain, the light weight material even better. I am super glad I bought them and have ordered another pair in different color. I highly recommend this shoes, also worked wonderful running on the tracks and road.
I have these in another color, so these are my second pair. By far the most comfortable shoe I’ve worn. True to size. Tho they are technically a trail shoe, I wear them for any of my outdoor workouts and activities. Look good, holding up well, no sign of wear. I normally wear adidas ultra boost, which have a snugger fit, but reach for these New Balance almost every morning now.
These are the only trail or “sneakers” my wife will wear. They do NOT hurt her feet despite long hours at work or walking the dog 5 miles or so. She swears by them and will not now wear any other brand or type. She has now 4 pairs for more than 3 years service. Different colors suit her wardrobe.
these fit like a glove and the top is flexible versus rigid like the Altra ones. Water proofing works great too. Only concern is I wore it for a 4 day trip with lot of city walking and the bottom is already smooth - finer patterns almost all gone already. Not sure how long it will last.
I ordered 7 based on the recommendation but the toe box was too small for my wide feet. I returned size 7 and I tried 7 Wide. I put about 40 miles by running and hiking and I’m happy about my purchase so far. There’s not much arch support compared to 1080 v10 and the toe box is smaller than 1080 v10.
These shoes are comfortable. I normally wear a size 7 wide, but in this style I ordered a 7.5 wide and they fit perfectly, so I would suggest ordering a half size larger than you normally wear.
The fresh foam that new balances uses is the same as in their running shoe and it is soft. You can walk on these all day. To top it off they have. Vibram sole with a solid grip. These are new balance top tier shoe. The uppers are very soft a grip your foot for a solid feel. No complaints.
