Terrific sneaker!
Lucky me! I ordered this shoe on line and it fits. Originally ordered a size 9 as that is my regular shoe size, but it is clear that I need my sneakers to be a 91/2. I sent back the size 9 and the size 9 1/2 fit I did this within days of the delivery of the size 9.I am wearing these sneakers strictly for pickleball (several times a week). The 9 1/2 fit me great and that's not an easy thing for me. I have narrow heels and somewhat narrow tow area. I also need a sneaker with a box in the front so that the front of the sneaks doesn't pinch the tops of my toes. This shoe has both. It's the brand. While I never bought this exact model, New Balance seems to fit my feet. If they came in another color I would buy a second pair to keep when these wear out.I had to take out the insole and use an orthotic to support my flat feet and the shoe still fits great and is very comfortable. My feet feel really good when I run around the pickleball court. Comfy with good cushioning and a good fit. What can be better? Oh yeah... nice looking shoe too.

Love these sneakers!
I play pickleball 6 days a week and am very picky about my sneakers!I have 2 pairs of Adidas court shoes which I love but it was time to get a new pair. Couldn’t find any colors I liked then I came across these New Balance! Just as comfortable as my Adidas, has a wide toe area which I always look for. Highly recommend! Run a little small. Go a 1/2 size up.

Good everyday shoe, NB is my go-to for athletic footwear
I usually have good luck with New Balance and these were a good fit. I have wide feet and some minor bunion issues on my left foot. I also use orthotics, which fit easily after removing the insole. I usually need a little breaking in time for any shoe and these were no exception. But overall these work great, I use as everyday shoes and for walking and other activities.

Works for youth boys also - great shoe
I know it might seem weird but I seem to get great NB women hard court tennis shoes for my middle school boy. I size up and it works just fine. Why do this? You would be surprised on how much you save on sales and resell prices are for women tennis shoes. These shoes are much better than the other brand that starts with N as the cushion and front toe protector are just better. Plus the wide sizes are more comfortable for wider feet.

I have ordered and returned 8 pairs of women's court shoes trying to find a pair that fit my wide feet. I was SO excited to find men's shoes that stocked sizes down to a 5W and happily ordered a size 5 1/2 wide shoes. When they arrived I was shocked to find much smaller shoes than expected. I did a little research and found out that the NB 796 V2 is actually a women's shoe. I returned the size 5 1/2 shoes and decided to order a half size larger than I normally wear to increase the chance that the next pair would fit. The size 8W shoes came and I was disappointed again. The instep and toe box are very low, and the shoe narrows quickly at the front so it is too narrow at the toes. If your feet and ankles roll out (supinate) the shoes might be great, but if they roll in (pronate) the shoes exaggerate the problem. I could barely stand in them.

Not comfortable
My normal shoe size is 5 so ordered 5.5. They for perfect. They are super hard and requires to break in. Not comfortable. My feet ache.
