Love these! Every 4 or 5 years I manage to find a pair of New Balance shoes in a color/style I love that I can't find locally. They are comfortable for me (I like the increased width) and I've washed them a few times returning the brightness of the "pineapple" yellow and they still look and feel great. Thanks NB, keep up the good work!
I was struggling with muscular issues, trying to run with my old, inflexible legs. So I searched for some very "cushy" runners that would reduce the strike when running on pavement. NB always fit me well, so I chose these. They worked well, as I have been able to comfortably run 2-4 miles at a time. Can't say how long they will last with such a soft sole, but I suppose that's a tradeoff to live with. I only have a hundred miles on them so far...
Very lightweight running shoe with a spongey sole that I’m using as my work shoes in a hospital. I’m on my feet and walking around a lot indoors so I need a shoe that’s light, is breathable, and has some bounce. They are very quiet to walk around on hospital flooring. They’re not constantly squeaking.These wouldn’t be good as outdoor work shoes. These are great shoes if your feet get hot easily. They’re very breathable so they dry out quickly and completely after taking them off after a shift.I have a different pair of new balance shoes for running but I feel like I could do a marathon in these ones.I usually buy size 12 for converse all-stars, or Vans slip on shoes, but this style of shoe I needed a 12.5.I’ve been wearing New Balance for almost 20 years and I trust them for my work shoes and running shoes.
From the first moment I put on these shoes and went for a run, I loved them. They're perfect for knocking out several miles at a hustling pace and they live up to the hype. Unfortunately, they began to fall apart after only three months of regular (but not excessive) use on paved surfaces. Chunks of the sole are peeling off in a big way. At this price point, I expected to get at least half of a year out of the shoes. Was tempted to give three stars but upped it to four just because of how great these shoes were at the outset.
I have had three runs with the shoes and I have found the shoes to be extremely comfortable. The shoe is well-made and is very light and my orthotics fit in the shoes perfectly. I was previously running in the new balance beacon which has since been discontinued. This seems to be a good substitute for that shoe. Time will tell if the shoe holds up well I really do like the styling of the shoe especially this color, which has a tie in with the New York Roadrunners New York City marathon. This is the version three. The version four is supposed to be coming out soon.
Good, but ripped very quickly, I wish they were made better especially for the price
The sole on these shoes is the most comfortable/best lasting of any pair I've worn. It has a springy feel rather than just being soft and still feels that way 1.5 years in after heavy use. The upper could probably be slightly improved but the sole material is perfect in every way.
