Liked them so much I bought them in all colors!
These are the best shoes! I loathe wearing closed toe shoes and socks. Once my feet get hot or feel confined I become a different person! However these shoes are the ONLY shoes I’ve ever worn that I can wear without socks and hike in. They fit like a sock and have no inner stitchings to give you blisters or irritate your foot. You can still wear a sock if you prefer. The airflow is super my feet are never hot it’s almost like wearing a sandal. There is minimal material between your foot and the ground so you can feel your steps like a barefoot shoe just with the grips to keep you grounded! I have hiked with these in several spots now to confirm these will be the shoes I hike the Inca trail with this summer. Oh and the laces are bubbled so it’s almost impossible for them to come undone while hiking. Again these are the best shoes I’ve had out of the numerous trail runners I’ve had.

Not the Minimus!
They should totally give this shoe a different name because it is not at all the Minimus barefoot runner - the only running shoe I have worn for the past 11 years. I am so disappointed and disheartened that they are no longer making my favorite shoe and that they are pretending this anywhere in the realm of it. A fine shoe as the other reviewer said, but not a barefoot runner. I bought it anyway after reading the review because I was having a hard time finding anything else. Why are they no longer making barefoot running shoes?!!?

Best Trail shoes!!!!
I don't usually write reviews, but this shoe is a MUST HAVE!!! I recently summited my first mountain in a pair of bulky hiking boots & was looking for a sneaker like alternative that would dry quickly if wet, give support & stability, not to mention be durable & light. THIS SNEAKER is all of that!! It's perfect for trail running on rocky terrain without feeling the rocks dig into your feet, stable & flexible enough to climb & jog up inclines without feeling like a brick & thin enough to dry quickly if you run through a puddle. I'm ordering the other colors as we speak so I can use a pair for work (healthcare). They are true to size, if you want to wear thick socks, just order the wide version!!

Lightweight
Really like these shoes. My previous NB running shoes were discontinued. They were very lightweight and hardly felt like you were wearing any shoes. These are very comparable. I ordered the black ones. The mesh like material on the top of the foot has a purplish appearance in the sunlight compared to the rest of the black of the shoe. That’s about the only negative I can give these. Consider ordering 1/2 or 1 whole size up.
