Are these Chanel? Hermes? Dior? Absolutely not. But they're the old money look without the price.I'm giving these four stars because I want to love them. I want to feel quiet luxury chic. They're definitely the right look - the low heel, the horsebit detail, the square toe and stitching. They're obviously not real leather for the price, but the pebbled look does miracles to make the pleather look better. I love the sling back heel, and I'm obviously glowing over the details.But something feels..... off? The heel is actually plastic. It doesn't look that way in pictures, or even when you're wearing the shoe. But I know. I know something's weird. They look a little matronly. They're putting the widow in rich widow. I got the tan and the beige is just a touch too light to look cool.Listen, none of this has stopped me from wearing these shoes to work. They're comfortable, they don't need to be broken in. I'm a size 7 and the 7 fits perfectly without having to adjust the sling back all day.Overall, they're a solid 4 stars. Great price. Just ok style.
